Description

When trying to add a new logo for Archer in Appearance, it is throwing the error below:
File type not allowed

Cause

This error occurs when the file type of the image is not added under the Trusted list (Whitelist) in the File Creation Restriction in Archer Control Panel.

Resolution

Follow the steps below to whitelist the image file type:

1. Open Archer Control Panel.
2. Navigate to Installation Settings > File Creation Restriction.
3. Check the file types under the Trusted list. The image file type would not be included.
4. Add the image file type (that is erroring during the upload) in the Trusted list (click on the plus sign at the bottom right and then enter the file type extension in the box that appears).
5. Click on Save in the top left and test uploading the logo again.
