Description
Archer
2024.06 introduces a new
Advanced Workflow feature, the
Event Launch Action Node, allowing users to use this Action Node to trigger a
Data Feed in Archer. Please check:
Trigger Data Feed from Advance Workflow.
During the
two week upgrade window from Non Production to Production, Archer Admins will
be able to
Package from version
2024.06 to 2024.04; however,
they should NOT create a Package that includes the new Event Launch Action Node and attempt to install it into 2024.04Cause
If a client packages this Advanced Workflow Event Launch Action Node from Archer 2024.06 to Archer 2024.04 during this two week upgrade period, a bad data state will occur with the Package install as this functionality is not included in Archer version 2024.04
Resolution
This scenario needs to be cleared of the error state manually.
The below SQL query can be used to clear it which needs to be run by contacting
Archer Technical Support,
if a client has Packaged this functionality from Archer 2024.06 to 2024.04.
Kindly note that this script should only be used by SaaS clients and run via Archer Technical Support as it is irreversible.

Notes
This only applies to Archer SaaS clients, and is only an issue during the Archer 2024.04 to Archer 2024.06 upgrade window. After that, this is not an issue.
