Description

Data Feeds can be used to trigger Subscription Notifications through the below setup (as an example):

• In the Subscription Notification, the Filter Criteria is set to be based on a Values List field.
• The Data Feed is configured to populate this Values List field in the records.
• The Data Feed then runs successfully with no errors; and sets the Values List field to the value specified in the Filter Criteria.

However, the Subscription Notification is not triggered.

Cause

The Send email notifications when the data feed publishes and updates records option is not enabled in the Data Feed configuration.

Resolution

Enable the Send Notifications option in the Data Feed configuration to trigger Notifications via the Data Feed. Follow the steps below:

1. Open the Data Feed (Administration menu > Integration > Data Feeds).
2. Open the Data Feed and go to the Run Configuration tab.
3. In the Post Processing section, check the Send email notifications when the data feed publishes and updates records checkbox, as per the below screenshot.
4. Then Save and Run the Data Feed and the notifications should be triggered.
