Description

Trying to start the Archer Job Engine Service causes an error: Windows could not start the Job Engine on Local computer.
Archer Control Panel (ACP) does not open.

Cause

Communication or authorization issues with the database server or Archer databases.

Resolution

1. Verify that the service account running SQL is active.
2. Verify that the SQL Configuration Manager is configured correctly.

SQL Server Network Configuration > TCP/IP = Enabled
