RSA announces general availability of RSA Archer Release 6.9 SP1. This release delivers enhancements and new functionality for the RSA Archer Platform.
Release 6.9 SP1 is immediately available in all languages supported by RSA Archer, including English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, and simplified Chinese.
Updates to the RSA Archer Platform in Release 6.9 SP1 include:
- User Experience enhancements:
- The Global Header displays the user's first name rather than the login id.
- Silverlight has been removed in back office pages for Access Control Reports and Manage Access Roles.
- Administration enhancements:
- When copying an existing Application or Questionnaire, Advanced Workflow configurations are included in the copy process.
- Data feeds using batch content save functionality respect the key field configuration to prevent creation of duplicate content.
- Updated Archer Security Configuration Guide reflects specific security categories for each product feature to simplify troubleshooting.
As a reminder, the following Features are being retired. To facilitate a smooth transition, the features will continue to function in Release 6.9 SP1, with support limited to production-critical issues. Please review the blog on RSA Link for additional information.

Recommendation:
RSA recommends that customers running RSA Archer Releases 6.3, 6.4, 6.5, 6.6, 6.7 or 6.8 apply this latest update. Please note that all releases are cumulative.
If you are running RSA Archer Release 6.2 or earlier, you must first upgrade to Release 6.8 and then upgrade to Release 6.9 SP1.
