Severity: | High |
Summary: |
RSA Archer contains fixes for multiple security vulnerabilities that could potentially be exploited by malicious users to compromise the affected system. |
Details: |
RSA Archer has been updated for the following vulnerabilities
RSA Archer, versions prior to 6.7 P3 (6.7.0.3), contain an information exposure vulnerability. An authenticated malicious local user with access to the log files may obtain sensitive information to use it in further attacks.
CVSSv3 Base Score: 8.8 (AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H)
RSA Archer, versions prior to 6.7 P3 (6.7.0.3), contain a command injection vulnerability. An authenticated malicious user with administrator privileges could potentially exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary commands on the system where the vulnerable application is deployed.
CVSSv3 Base Score: 7.2 (AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H)
The REST API in RSA Archer, versions prior to 6.7 P3 (6.7.0.3) contains an authorization bypass vulnerability. A remote authenticated malicious user could potentially exploit this vulnerability to view sensitive information.
CVSSv3 Base Score: 4.3 (AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N)
RSA Archer, versions prior to 6.7 P2 (6.7.0.2), contain a Document Object Model (DOM) based cross-site scripting vulnerability. A remote unauthenticated attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability by tricking a victim application user to supply malicious HTML or JavaScript code to DOM environment in the browser. The malicious code is then executed by the web browser in the context of the vulnerable web application.
CVSSv3 Base Score: 8.2 (AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:L)
RSA Archer, versions prior to 6.7 P2 (6.7.0.2), contain a cross-site request forgery vulnerability. A remote unauthenticated attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability by tricking a victim application user to send arbitrary requests to the vulnerable application to perform server operations with the privileges of the authenticated victim user.
CVSSv3 Base Score: 5.0 (AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:N/I:L/A:N)
RSA Archer, versions prior to 6.7 P1 (6.7.0.1), contain a URL injection vulnerability. An unauthenticated remote attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability by tricking a victim application user to execute malicious JavaScript code in the context of the web application.
CVSSv3 Base Score: 4.7 (AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N)
RSA Archer, versions prior to 6.7 P1 (6.7.0.1), contain a URL redirection vulnerability. A remote unauthenticated attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability to redirect application users to arbitrary web URLs by tricking the victim users to click on maliciously crafted links. The vulnerability could be used to conduct phishing attacks that cause users to unknowingly visit malicious sites.
CVSSv3 Base Score: 4.7 (AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N) For more information about any of the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) mentioned here, consult the National Vulnerability Database (NVD) at http://nvd.nist.gov/home.cfm.
