Details
Archer Release 6.9 SP2 P2 (6.9.2.2) includes fixes for the Archer Platform. For additional details, see the Release Notes.
Previous Archer installation exe folders and file names followed a specific naming convention. Please be aware that Release 6.9 SP2 Patch 2 installer has a different naming convention.
The previous naming convention includes:
- Installation exe folder name: Archer.GRC.Platform.Installer.release_number
- Archer Installer exe name: Archer.GRC.Platform.Installer_release_number.exe
Archer Release 6.9 SP2 P2 naming convention includes:
- Installation exe folder name is the build number: 10044
- Archer Installer exe name: signed-6.9.20200.10044.x64.exe
Recommendations
Archer recommends that customers running Archer Release 6.3 and later apply this latest update. Please note that all releases are cumulative.
If you are running Archer Release 6.2 or earlier, you must first upgrade to Archer Release 6.8 and then upgrade to Archer Release 6.9 or later.
