A few months ago, we shared our vision for a modern, intuitive user interface designed to enhance your experience. Today, we are thrilled to announce that this vision has become a reality. Our new UI is now available in our SaaS Non-Production environments – it’s a complete reimagination of how you interact with Archer.
Foundational elements
- There are a lot of changes we have made to the UI, which means things have moved from where they were. To help orient you to the new experience, you will be welcomed to a new page by a Guided Tour
- The new experience is designed to be responsive – from a large monitor to a mobile device.
- We are introducing a new breadcrumb-based navigation that will help you traverse the path that got you to a specific place in Archer.
- With all these changes we are also now able to support browser controls including the use of ‘Back’ and ‘Forward’ buttons.
Search
Search now features an all-in-one interface where you can define, preview, and refine your search seamlessly. The left panel is dedicated to setting your search parameters, including applying filters. On the middle panel you’ll find a preview of your results. Meanwhile, the contextual panel on the right allows you to select additional options such as colours and variations for a more tailored outcome.
Record Page
The record page is designed to enhance simplicity, elegance and efficiency. There are a lot of new concepts we have introduced.
- New way to visualize workflow
- Highlight fields that need user attention
- Aggregated view (with navigation links) for alerts
- New way to visualize changes to a record and many more
