Hello all,
I posted this in the general Archer partner community, but wanted to repost here for additional visibility specifically from an API perspective....
I am looking for a way to periodically delete records from an application based on specific retention policies. The idea would be to only retain data within the last X years, and routinely evaluate records to purge them.
I found the following article with guidance on how to do this with a report and a datafeed (https://community.rsa.com/docs/DOC-45255), but I am looking to see if there is a more efficient way to do this other than creating a report of everything that is NOT wanted. My concern is that when this is applied within an application with a high volume of records (e.g. vulnerabilities, that creating a report of potentially millions of records in order to delete a few thousand will be inefficient.
Can anyone think of another way to do this? Perhaps through the API? Thanks!

Eric, that is apparently the same community, but nested forum So, the answer would be basically the same as in https://community.rsa.com/thread/200693
