Hi All,
I know this is a long shot and hoping that there is a solution - otherwise i might raise it as an idea.
Is there a way a user can see all their assigned records from all applications (specifically the due dates) in one single report.
I understand that we can do this for each individual application but, from a user experience perspective, having all records appear in a single report, with the due dates being sorted by ascending order (as an example), would be quite beneficial and i believe, help manage (to some degree) overdue records.
Thanks a million,
Joy

If you implement Task Management across AWF in all your apps, you can run reports from there, better still the little bell icon at the top aggregates them all individually also.

As already mentioned wherever you are using advanced workflow these can be seen in the tasks menu or in task management. However; for other applications and questionnaires not using advanced workflow, there is not a simple way to do this. For us the vast majority are not using workflow so we have developed a number a dashboards and notifications to aid users in managing assignments.

Advanced Workflow + Tasks is the preferred option. However if not feasible, this alternative approach may work:
- Ensure Contacts app is populated with all users + linked User Account in Record Permission Field
- Create a calculated cross reference from each app to Contacts App (link on Assigned User = Contact User Account) & optionally add other filters to prevent linkage when user has no action to complete
- Create report from Contact apps, with appropriate related records to show assigned records
Viola! Single report with all records the user needs to action.

@DanLieb while this approach works for certain scenarios it's not sustainable for a vast majority. Some corporations have a LOT of users in the Contacts application and if you keep building more and more calculated cross-references to the Contacts application, you're going to have problems when the time comes that you need to recalc and it takes days to complete.
Using the Task Manage application is a great start and for applications that don't use AWF you can use a data feed to populate the app.
Let's not forget a nightmare scenario that if one of those calculated cross-reference fields is miss configured and links thousands and thousands of records. It will have a huge performance hit.

Thank you all - looks like Tasks is the way to go with this one.
I was hoping that there was some way to have this function without using Tasks. Is this something that you would think would benefit users/yourselves?

We can use the Next Generation Dashboard to show all of the Reports in single Dashboard instead of using multiple Workspaces.
