$CM / JavaScript Custom Objects

Late Saturday night Archering going on here..

Can someone kindly point me in the direction to documentation related to the $CM library that can be used within custom objects?  I have been "hacking" my way through custom objects with jQuery and just found out about $CM.  Late to the party.

And secondly, is there an easy way to determine what mode the record is in (Edit vs. View)?

Ah, drop-down values list have no values pre-loaded.  They get loaded when a user clicks the drop-down and unfortunately the _valuesLists doesn't get updated when the values are loaded.

Hey David, did my own investigating, and funny enough, it works on IE.  Its google chrome that is giving me this issue.  Not sure why this is, but chrome has been giving a lot of archer issues in general since their latest update.

I guess for now ill use the REST API and deal with the latency XD.
